How To Remove A Kool-Aid Stain From Your Carpet?

If you accidentally spilled kool-aid all over your carpet then you need to act quickly and immediately start treating the stain – the longer you wait, the harder the removal process will be. When you think about it, this rule applies to every type of stain

And even though removing kool-aid stains from a carpet might seem really hard – it really isn’t, you just need to know which steps to take and which ingredients to prepare. Today, I am going to show you exactly what you need to do in order to remove those annoying stains!

Here Is What You Need To Do!

– First Method

Start off with blotting as much of the liquid as possible with a few paper towels. But don’t scrub or apply any pressure – just blot.

Then mix a cup of warm water with half a teaspoon of dishwashing detergent or laundry detergent but I recommend the dishwashing detergent if you have both because sometimes the laundry detergent leaves a residue on the carpet that is hard to remove later.

Treat the stain with the mixture and a cloth.

If the stain remains then mix two cups of water with a cup of white vinegar then treat the stain with that.

In some cases, the stain will still remain after doing everything I told you. But don’t give up – continue with mixing a cup of water with a tablespoon of ammonia. Ammonia is super strong and it will work.

Once you are done, rinse the area with cold water!

– Second Method

Pour a bit of club soda over the stained area then blot with a towel or a cloth until you notice the stain is lifting off.

Continue with applying a bit of lemon juice then blot again. And finally, rinse with cold water!
