James Stark is a retired academic who lives and writes in the Pacific Northwest of the US. That area often serves as a backdrop for his stories. Some of them have appeared in snreview, southern ocean review, wordriot, hissquarterly, pequin, lochravenreview, cantaraville, Istanbul Literary Review, quarterly literary review, among others.
They say that hormones made Danny the way he was in seventh grade: six foot two and two hundred pounds. His growth had migrated into his body so there wasn't much left in his mental topography.
